A couple weeks after initially uploading Alex at the end of November, I made a few changes to it and uploaded a second edition (which replaced the original). The changes were not earth-shaking: primarily a couple modifications to the Acknowledgements and About the Author pages, as well as a bit of clean-up to the final action scene. I was under the impression a previous buyer could just re-download the new version, or have it automatically updated with the new version, but I’ve since learned this is not the case.

Apparently Kindle Support is aware of this issue and working on a resolution, but in the interim, there is the direct approach. I promised an answer to this question a couple weeks ago so I just wanted to get it out here.
